Machine Gun Kelly & Blackbear Release Music Video For “My Ex’s Best Friend”

Machine Gun Kelly and blackbear have released the new music video for “My Ex’s Best Friend.”

My Ex’s Best Friend has just scored #1 on Billboards Rock Streaming Songs chart, as MGK gets ready to release his fifth studio album Tickets to my Downfall, produced by Travis Barker, on September 25th.  Tickets to my Downfall sees Kelly shift gears from his traditional Hip Hop sound to the pop punk genre.

MGK and blackbear performed “My Ex’s Best Friend” and “Bloody Valentine,” with Barker on drums, at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. MGK was also awarded the Moonman for best alternative video for “Bloody Valentine.”

Ed Sheeran And Wife Cherry Seaborn Welcome Baby Girl, Lyra Antarctica

Ed Sheeran, 29, and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, 28, have announced the birth of their baby girl on Instagram.

“Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran,” Sheeran wrote alongside a photo of a pair of baby socks on top of a blue and green blanket.  He added, “We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x.”

Sheeran and Seaborn tied the knot in December 2018 at their home in Suffolk, England, in front of 40 friends and family members. Sheeran first met Seaborn at school when he was 11, but their relationship didn’t turn romantic until the summer of 2015 when they shared their first date at Taylor Swift’s annual Fourth of July party. The couple starred in their first music video together for his single, “Put It All on Me,” back in December 2019.

Ariana Grande Becomes The Most Followed Woman On Instagram

Ariana Grande has become the most followed woman on Instagram. The 27-year-old has now reached the 200 million follower mark, the first woman to do so. Grande is also the second most followed person on the social app, just behind soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 238 million followers.

Selena Gomez is close to 200 million as well, sitting at 190 million, and Kylie Jenner is currently at 193 million. Rounding out the top five most is Dwayne Johnson, who has 196 million.

Ariana‘s new milestone comes just off her big night at the 2020 MTV VMAs, where she performed her hit song “Rain On Me” with Lady Gaga.  The duo also picked up a Moonman for the single, and Grande also won for her duet with Justin Bieber, “Stuck With U.”

Five Finger Death Punch Announce New Greatest Hits Release “A Decade Of Destruction, Volume 2”

Five Finger Death Punch have announced a second volume of their greatest hits collection, “A Decade Of Destruction,“ set for an October 9th release date. Pre-orders are available now via Amazon.

“A Decade Of Destruction – Volume 2” includes four previously unreleased tracks: “Broken World”, a Steve Aoki remix of “Bad Company”, a Joe Hahn remix of “Wash It All Away”, a Felmax remix of “Trouble” and a new acoustic version of “Wrong Side Of Heaven”.

The band’s latest album, “F8,” the follow-up to 2018’s “And Justice For None,” was released in February. Much of “F8″‘s lyrical content deals with singer Ivan Moody’s battle with addiction, its aftermath and his recovery. The singer celebrated two years of sobriety in March.

Oregon State Police Called To Portland Amid Unrest At Additional Protests

State police and law enforcement from neighboring suburbs in Oregon were sent to Portland on Monday as tensions mounted following a fatal weekend shooting in the midst of clashes between supporters of President Donald Trump and counter-protesters.

Governor Kate Brown announced a plan that she said would allow for peaceful protest while cracking down on law breakig that has often accompanied demonstrations. In addition to temporarily sending in state police troopers and officers from neighboring jurisdictions, the FBI and federal prosecutors will add resources to prosecute criminal offenses stemming from protests, Brown said.

The Trump administration in July deployed federal forces to Portland to protect a U.S. courthouse that has been the focus of violent protests and other federal property. The federal agents were later withdrawn.

Appeals Court Rejects Request By DOJ To Force Dismissal Of Case Against Former Trump Security Advisor Michael Flynn

On Monday, a federal appeals court rejected an effort by Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, and the Justice Department to force a lower district judge to throw out Flynn’s criminal case. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 8-2 that D.C. District Judge Emmet Sullivan did not act improperly by not immediately accepting the Justice Department’s push to dismiss Flynn’s case. The court also said that Sullivan’s appointment of an outside former judge to argue against the department was not improper, reversing the judgment of previous three-judge panel from the court which had argued Sullivan was overstepping his authorities.

Flynn pleaded guilty in late 2017 to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the former Russian ambassador before seeking to withdraw his plea early this year, alleging misconduct against the agents who investigated him.

Coco Gauff Eliminated In First Round Of U.S. Open

16-year-old Cori “Coco” Gauff was knocked out of the U.S. Open after a first-round loss to No. 31 seed Anastasija Sevastova on Monday at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing, N.Y. Sevastova defeated Gauff in three sets 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 in the opening round. Last year, Gauff reached the third round at Flushing Meadows before losing to 2018 champion Naomi Osaka.

Sevastova had been only 1-8 in singles play this year but earned another breakthrough win in New York. She was a semifinalist at the U.S. Open two years ago. Also on Monday, top-seeded Karolina Pliskova beat Anhelina Kalinina in straight sets to advance to the next round. Pliskova had a 26-7 edge in winners. Three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber defeated Ajla Tomljanovic 6-4, 6-4.

Los Angeles Chargers Safety Derwin James To Season Due To Knee Surgery

 Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James will need to undergo surgery on his injured right knee and will miss the entire 2020 season. League sources told ESPN on Monday that James will require meniscus surgery, a procedure that is expected to sideline him for at least six months. That timeline could reach as much as eight months.

The 24-year-old James sustained the right leg injury during Sunday’s practice session. According to the outlets, the standout defensive back received a second opinion, which confirmed that surgery would be necessary. James was the No. 17 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Florida State. He had 105 total tackles, 13 passes defensed, four tackles for a loss, 3 1/2 sacks and three interceptions in 16 starts to earn All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors as a rookie.

The Chargers will face the Cincinnati Bengals in their first game of the season on Sept. 13 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

Carrie Underwood will release her first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, on Sept. 25 and has released the new song, “Let There Be Peace” from the album.  “Let There Be Peace” features background vocals from The McCrary Sisters and Brett James.

Carrie’s upcoming album will feature a combination of beloved traditional favorites and original material. Carrie revealed the album’s 11-song track list and special guests via Instagram, stating: “The songs on #MyGift are a mix of Christmas classics that are close to my heart and new songs that I hope will become close to yours. The album also includes a couple of very special guests…I can’t wait for you all to hear ‘Hallelujah’ written by and sung with the incredible @JohnLegend, and a very special version of “Little Drummer Boy” featuring my own little drummer boy, Isaiah. September 25 can’t come soon enough! #MyGift.”

Listen To Keith Urban’s New Song, “Tumbleweed”

Keith Urban has released another new song, “Tumbleweed,” from his upcoming album, The Speed of Now: Part 1, which is set to drop on Sept. 18. The new tune follows the release of the album’s “We Were,” “Polaroid,” “Superman,” “Change Your Mind” and current single, “God Whispered Your Name.” The Speed of Now: Part I is the follow-up to Keith’s 2018 album, Graffiti U, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

Keith’s upcoming album contains collaborations including “Out of the Cage” featuring guitarist Nile Rodgers, as well as duet “One Too Many” with pop star Pink. The album also includes Keith’s 2019 single, “We Were,” featurig vocals from one of the tune’s songwriters, Eric Church.
