Luke Bryan announces dates of his ‘2022 Farm Tour’

Luke Bryan announced his thirteenth Farm Tour this September, taking place during a two-week break from his Raised Up Right Tour which kicks-off in June.  Bryan will perform at farms across six states September 15th-24th. Riley Green, Jameson Rodgers, the Peach Pickers, and DJ Rock will be the special guests.

Over 100,000 fans have attended the Farm Tour since its inception in 2009. Bryan will continue giving back to the farmers by awarding college scholarships to students from farming families who are attending the local college or university near the tour stops. To date, more than 60 scholarships have been granted.  Said Bryan: “I look forward to these shows every year mainly because of the meaning behind them and why it was important to me to start the Farm Tour thirteen years ago. It has allowed communities who don’t normally get a concert in their areas to experience a fun night in their backyard all while lifting up the American farmer. Small town and farming pretty much sum up my childhood. It is my way of life and I know it is a way of life for so many. It is truly the highlight of my year for me and my whole team.”

Tickets for the 2022 Farm Tour will go on sale on Thursday, May 5 on Bryan’s website at 10 AM local time. Presale tickets for Nut House fan club members and fan App are available now at LukeBryan.com/allaccesspass. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets now through May 5th via the Citi Entertainment program.

Netflix cancels Meghan Markle’s animated series ‘Pearl’

Netflix has canceled an animated series that was in development from creator Meghan Markle.   Titled Pearl, the series was set to follow the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration from influential women throughout history.

The cancelation of Pearl comes after Netflix shares plunged in April after the streaming service announced a drop in subscribers. Sources reveal that Netflix said the cancelation is part of strategic decisions the company is making on animated content.

Markle and Prince Harry signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in September 2020 to develop documentaries, feature films, scripted televisions series and children’s shows. Netflix will continue to work with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex through their Archwell Productions company.
