Pearl Jam to reissue 25th anniversary edition of ‘Yield’

Pearl Jam have announced a 25th anniversary reissue package for their fifth studio album ‘Yield’, which debuted in February 1998 and featured the singles ‘Do The Evolution’ and ‘Given To Fly’.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the album will be reissued on translucent red and black vinyl, and is anticipated to begin shipping in late summer. For streaming services, ‘Yield’ has now been released in spatial audio on Spotify, Apple Music and more.

The band’s ‘Give Way’ concert film is being pressed on vinyl and CD as a live album for the first time for Record Store Day 2023.  That concert took place in Melbourne, Australia on March 5, 1998 – a month after the release of ‘Yield’ – and was one of the last gigs the band played with original drummer Jack Irons, who was replaced by Soundgarden‘s Matt Cameron.
