Two of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ homes raided by Homeland Security amid sex trafficking investigation

Law enforcement agents have reportedly raided homes owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles in connection to an ‘ongoing’ sex trafficking investigation. Helicopter footage showed Homeland Security raid at the rapper’s Beverly Hills home on Monday.

According to Los Angeles station FOX 11, Homeland Security raided both Diddyl’s Los Angeles and Miami homes on Monday, March 25 in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation. Multiple people, including Diddy’s sons Justin and King Combs, were detained at the scene. According to video footage, there appears to be dozens of armed agents in full tactical gear with rifles walking in and out of the Beverly Hills residence; it’s unclear if Diddy is present at either home.

A representative for Homeland Security Investigations told TMZ: “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.

Diddy has faced numerous allegations of sexual misconduct in recent months; his ex-girlfriend Cassie (full name is Casandra Ventura) who dated on and off from 2007 to 2018, was the first to accuse Diddy of rape, assault and repeated physical abuse in a November 2023 lawsuit. The lawsuit between the exes was settled quickly and “amicably,” Diddy said in a statement. Diddy later faced three new lawsuits before the end of the year, in which he was accused of sexual assault, revenge porn and being involved in the “gang rape” of a 17-year-old girl.

Rebel Wilson alleges that Sacha Baron Cohen is the A-list celebrity ‘threatening’ her over memoir

Rebel Wilson has named Sacha Baron Cohen as the ‘A-list Hollywood star’ who is allegedly trying to “threaten” her over her upcoming memoir, “Rebel Rising.” Wilson, 44, posted a picture of a binder and a purple pen in an Instagram Story on Monday, writing: “I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The ‘a—hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sasha Baron Cohen.” Wilson and Cohen worked together in 2016’s “The Brothers Grimsby,” which also starred Penélope Cruz, Sam Hazeldine and Cohen’s wife, Isla Fisher.

A spokesperson for Cohen, 52, issued a statement in response to Wilson’s claims later on Monday, which read: “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during, and after the production of ‘The Brothers Grimsby’.”

Wilson’s revelation comes days after she alleged an ‘A-list’ star (now identified as Cohen) hired a crisis PR firm and lawyers to hinder her book sales when she told the Cohen that she planned to dedicate a whole chapter to him. Wilson wrote in a now-deleted post: “now the a–hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book.”

Wilson’s memoir, “Rebel Rising,” is currently set for release on April 2.

Styx bassist Ricky Phillips announces departure from band after over 20 years

Ricky Phillips, Styx’s bassist for over 20 years, has announced that he’s leaving the group.

In a message to fans on Facebook, the bassist shared: “Dear Friends, after touring for 50 years with The Baby’s, Bad English, opening for Tina Turner (on the Private Dancer tour with John Parr), Belinda Carlisle’s first solo tour, rehearsing in Tahoe and recording at Little Mountain in Canada with Jimmy Page and David Coverdale and writing, touring, and co-producing 10/10 with Ronnie Montrose, to name a chosen few…l’m taking a breather. My last 20+ years of touring and recording with my friends in Styx has come to an end. I am taking a break from the road. I’m not retiring, just taking a break. Presently, I have accepted an offer to co-produce a project in a studio close to home. I’ve known since I was a kid that live performance is in my blood so, in time I will post any future engagements or commitments. But for right now, Melissa and I will share coffee talk and meals from home…with our critters close by. Of course, I will always cherish the adventurous days recording and touring with Styx. And, I will truly miss the wonderfully-crazy and faithful Styx fans…whose smiling faces I often saw more than my own family. Peace be with you all…and Happy Trails, Ricky”

Prior to joining Styx in 2003, Phillips performed with the Babys, Bad English, Coverdale-Page and Ted Nugent. Styx responded to Phillips’ on their Facebook page with a show of support for their longtime bandmate, writing: “It was a joy to spend two decades with Ricky Phillips in Styx and we wish him all the best in his next adventure. He’ll always be a part of the Styx family and we’ll miss his presence on our stage and in our touring lives. With all our love, The Styx Family.”

Styx is currently on tour, and a replacement for Phillips has yet to be announced. Chuck Panozzo, who co-founded Styx and was the original bassist, is still involved with the band at a limited capacity due to his HIV diagnosis.

1 man killed, his brother injured in 1st fatal California mountain lion attack in 20 years

Officials have confirmed that an attack by a mountain lion in a remote Northern California region west of Lake Tahoe left one man dead and his brother injured, marking the first fatal incident by a mountain lion in the state in 20 years.

The attack took place on Saturday afternoon while the brothers, ages 21 and 18, were out searching for shed deer antlers near the El Dorado National Forest, about 52 miles northeast of Sacramento. An 18-year-old man called 911 on Saturday at about 1:13 p.m. PT to report that he and his brother had been attacked by the mountain lion in Georgetown and he had become separated from his older sibling, according to a statement from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office.  Georgetown is a small town north of Placerville, California.

When sheriff’s deputies and paramedics arrived at the scene near Georgetown around 1:34 p.m., they located the injured teenager and began administering first aid. The teenager sustained “traumatic injuries to his face” and transported to a nearby hospital. Information on his condition was not immediately disclosed. Additional deputies sent to the scene launched a search for the teenager’s brother, finding the 21-year-old man nearby lying motionless on the ground with the mountain lion crouched next to him. According to a statement, “deputies discharged their firearms in order to scare the mountain lion off so they could render medical aid,” but by the time they reached the victim, he was dead.

California Department of Fish and Wildlife said in a statement on social media: “Following the mountain lion attack today, Sat., March 23, 2024, in Georgetown, California, a mountain lion was euthanized near the scene of the attack. The mountain lion has been sent to the CDFW forensics laboratory to obtain DNA information and general health of the lion.”

Authorities said mountain lion attacks are rare, and most verified encounters between the big cats and humans are not fatal. According to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, before Saturday’s attack there had been only three fatal mountain lion attacks on humans in California since 1994, the most recent involving a 35-year-old male who was fatally mauled in 2004 at Whiting Ranch Regional Park in Orange County.
