Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett ‘day to day’ with feet injury

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett underwent an MRI on Monday after re-aggravating an ongoing injury in both feet during Sunday’s game vs. the New York Giants.

Garrett sought attention in the medical tent and worked with trainers during the Browns Week 3 loss against NY. He appeared to be doubled over in pain, as well as needing assistance walking off the field at one point, and was also seen limping after the game. Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski said that he was still waiting for an updates, but Teller is ‘day to day’ and a possible IR candidate.

Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Yea, said of the injury (via ESPN): “It’s more than just the foot. It’s multiple things going on. So, I mean, if I think the foot’s feeling good or feeling better, it’s one thing or another. So it’s kind of just feeding into each other right now, and nothing’s sitting right because nothing has time to heal because I’m leaning on something else and I’m compensating here to make something hurt there. It’s just been, like I said, a cycle.”

Garrett added that he may need a procedure “further down the line,” but said he will to play until he gets answers on the nature of the injury: “I’m not concerned about something I don’t know about. So, get the results and move from there. At this point, I’m going to continue to move as I have and look forward to playing the next game until someone tells me otherwise.”

See Adam Driver in the trailer for the Francis Ford Coppola’s film, ‘Megalopolis’

Lionsgate is gearing up to release the latest project from Francis Ford Coppola, “Megalopolis,” sharing a trailer for the film that was written, directed and produced by Coppola himself.

Megalopolis, starring Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito and Nathalie Emmanuel, follows the collapse of a future American empire while referencing the fall of Rome. The film marks the culmination of a decades-long project from the Coppola, who started working on the “Megalopolis” screenplay in the 1980s and invested $120 million of his own money into the making of it.

An official synopsis reads: “Megalopolis is a Roman Epic set in an imagined Modern America. The City of New Rome must change, causing conflict between Cesar Catalina (Driver), a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian, idealistic future, and his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Esposito), who remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare. Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero (Emmanuel), the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.”

Megalopolis had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May; the cast also includes Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Kathryn Hunter and Dustin Hoffman.

Megalopolis is set to debut in theaters on Sept. 27; watch the trailer for the film – HERE.

Katy Perry drops ‘143’ album, see video for ‘I’m His, He’s Mine’ featuring Doechii

Katy Perry has finally dropped her new album 143, shortly after the release of the video for her collab with rapper Doechii, “I’m His, He’s Mine” which features a sample of Crystal Waters‘ 1991 hit “Gypsy Woman.” The video for I’m His, He’s Mine features Katy skydiving and riding on the hood of a silver sports car, while Doechii flies through the air while hanging onto a drone.

The 11-track album 143 is Perry’s first since Smile, which dropped in 2020. 143 features collaborations with 21 Savage, Kim Petras, JID and Doechii, who performed “I’m His, He’s Mine” with Perry at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 11, where she also received the Video Vanguard Award.

Perry said in a statement: “I’ve heard a lot of do this, don’t do that, wear less, wear more now, don’t cut your hair. One of the biggest reasons I’m standing here right now is I learned how to block out all the noise, that every single artist in this industry has to constantly fight against, especially women.  I just want to say with my whole heart, do whatever it takes to stay true to yourself and true to your art, turn off social media, safeguard your mental health, pause, touch grass, and do what you were born to do, just like I was born to do this.”
