See Jon Pardi’s video for ‘Friday Night Heartbreaker’

Jon Pardi has shared the new music video for new single “Friday Night Heartbreaker,” the lead track off his upcoming fifth studio album.

The video for the track was directed by Jim Wright and shot in Nashville’s historic Printer’s Alley. Said Pardi: “I always enjoy filming with Jim Wright, even if it means being in Printer’s Alley until 2 AM. You really see some wild characters down there at that hour. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was chatting with the actors and actresses who performed the circus stunts-they were amazing! All I had to do was play guitar and drive a cool car while they were over there breathing fire and swallowing swords. It was awesome to watch it all come together!”

Pardi will return to the road with his Honkytonk Hollywood Tour this spring, hitting 16 arenas and amphitheaters across the US with support from Corey Kent on select dates and Kassi Ashton.

President Trump names Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson and Jon Voight as ‘special envoys’ to Hollywood

President Donald Trump has named Mel Gibson, Jon Voight and Sylvester Stallone as his “special envoys to Hollywood, California,” in a hope to make Hollywood “stronger than ever before”.

Trump wrote on Truth Social: “It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California. They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!

In a statement provided to CBS News, Gibson said he was surprised by the announcement and “got the tweet at the same time as all of you and was just as surprised. Nevertheless, I heed the call. My duty as a citizen is to give any help and insight I can. Any chance the position comes with an Ambassador’s residence?”

It’s unclear what exactly Gibson, Voight and Stallone will be doing in this effort to bring productions back to the U.S.; meanwhile, representatives for Voight and Stallone did not immediately respond to request for comment.
