Texans’ OL Kenyon Green traded to Eagles in exchange for safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson

The Houston Texans have traded star offensive guard Kenyon Green in exchange for Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, sources told ESPN. The Eagles will send Gardner-Johnson and a 2026 sixth-round pick to Houston, in exchange for Green and a 2026 fifth-round pick.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo posted on X: “Sources to me and @RapSheet: The #Eagles are trading S C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the #Texans in exchange for former first-round G Kenyon Green plus a pick swap. CJGJ and a 2026 6th-rounder to Houston for Green and a 2026 5th.”

Gardner-Johnson, 27, was the fourth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in the 2019 NFL Draft. He totaled 51 passes defensed, 18 interceptions and four sacks through the first 74 games of his career, initially joining the Eagles in a 2022 trade from the Saints. The Eagles signed the veteran safety to a three-year, $27 million contract last off-season. He totaled 59 combined tackles, 12 passes defensed, six interceptions and a forced fumble over 16 starts last season.

Green, 23, was the No. 15 overall pick by the Texans in the 2022 NFL Draft, and appeared in 27 games over the last three seasons (though he missed the entire 2023 campaign due to a shoulder injury). The 6-foot-4, 325-pound guard appeared in 12 games, including nine starts, last season for the Texans.

Gardner-Johnson expressed his love for Philadelphia in a series of X posts Tuesday morning, writing: “This decision wasn’t mine, but I walk away proud of what we built together. To my teammates: Brothers, we bled, cursed, and laughed through it all. To the coaches and front office: Thank you for trusting a kid from Florida with a chip on his shoulder to lead this defense. And to the Philly Faithful — you’re unmatched. You embraced my edge and fire, for this game even when I got too hot.”

Miranda Lambert shares video for ‘Run’

Miranda Lambert has shared the official music video for her latest single “Run,” directed by Kate Rentz and written by Miranda herself.

Lambert says of the track: “I wasn’t ever ready to perform it until now. That’s what songs are for, and you may not be ready at that one time to sing about something really raw. But then it can come back around,” adding that the song is “an admission of error too. It’s an apology, but it’s also a resolve.”

The video for ‘Run’ was filmed at Don Donnelly’s D Spur Ranch & Riding Stables in Gold Canyon, Arizona, with Lambert’s horse, Cool, appearing in the visual. Said Lambert: “There is always a sense of freedom when you’re on the back of a horse with the wind in your hair, so it felt really significant to have Cool with me in this video. I love horses because they’re a way to run to something–or away if you need to. I started riding when I turned 30 and wanted to try more things that scared me. Now horses are such a passion of mine and mounted shooting is a brand-new way to push myself and to chase that feeling of being bravely true to yourself, which is exactly what this song is about.”

‘Yellowstone’ Season 5, Part 2 to stream on Peacock beginning March 16

Season 5, Part 2 of Yellowstone will stream exclusively on Peacock beginning March 16, , making the entire series available to stream on Peacock.

The streaming date comes nearly three months after “Yellowstone” concluded its fifth season (after a nearly two-year break between the end of the first half of Season 5), with the Season 5 finale airing on Paramount Network on Dec. 15. Paramount reported that the Season 5 conclusion drew some 11.4 million viewers when the finale aired.

Taylor Sheridan and John Linson’s western, which began airing in 2018, followed the Dutton family and the happenings on their ranch. Kevin Costner portrayed John Dutton, until he left the show due to scheduling conflicts. After his character’s unexpected death, the family is left to protect the ranch from an uncertain future. Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, Cole Hauser, Wes Bentley, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill and Forrie J. Smith also star in the series.

It still remains unclear whether Season 5 is the final season of “Yellowstone” after Paramount advertised the Season 5 finale as a “special season finale event.”  Reports had been circulating that “Yellowstone” was in talks for a potential sixth season but in December, however later news broke that series stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser had closed deals to lead a spinoff series.

The Black Keys drop new song, reveal ‘No Rain No Flowers’ tour dates

The Black Keys has announced the spring leg of their No Rain No Flowers Tour, kicking off on May 23rd in Oklahoma and hitting over a dozen iconic venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Greek Theatre before returning to Europe in July. The spring trek will feature support from Hermanos Gutiérrez and The Heavy Heavy on select dates.

The upcoming tour marks The Black Keys’ return to the road after they canceled a 2024 arena tour supporting their latest album, Ohio Players. The band, featuring guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, also revealed they are working on the follow-up to Ohio Players due later this year.

The Black Keys, featuring guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, also dropped their new track “The Night Before,” co-written by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney along with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Daniel Tashian.  Said Auerbach: “It’s so groove-based. ‘The Night Before’ started with a chord progression that Daniel and I came up with and the rest just fell out. It was really collaborative and all came together in about 30 minutes. Adds Carney: “We’ve never really worked with songwriters like that in Nashville. It’s crazy because Daniel was one of the first people I met when I moved to town over a decade ago. But we pushed ourselves to bring in some new co-writers, and we really tapped into something cool with Daniel. We’re finishing up the album now and plan to release more tracks leading into the tour.”

Supreme Court to hear challenge to Colorado law banning “conversion therapy”

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a legal challenge to a law in Colorado that bans “conversion therapy” aimed at LGBTQ+ minors. At least 23 states and the District of Columbia ban conversation therapy for minors.

Conversion therapy, as defined by the state, is an attempt to “change an individual’s sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attraction or feelings toward individuals of the same sex.”

Colorado enacted the Minor Conversion Therapy Law in 2019 following what the state said was a growing mental health crisis among young people in the state and “mounting evidence” that conversion therapy is tied to increased depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation. The law prohibits “any practice or treatment [upon minors] … that attempts or purports to change an individual’s sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attraction or feelings toward individuals of the same sex.”

The high court agreed to hear the legal challenge brought by the conservative group Alliance Defending Freedom in opposition to the state law. The Alliance Defending Freedom group is representing Christian counselor Kaley Chiles, who has argued that Colorado’s law violates First Amendment rights by “censoring” client conversions.

Kristen Waggoner, president of Alliance Defending Freedom, said in a statement“The government has no business censoring private conversations between clients and counselors, nor should a counselor be used as a tool to impose the government’s biased views on her clients.”

A federal judge and the Denver-based 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals both ruled in favor of the state. Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, a Democrat, wrote in a statement:  “In Colorado, we are committed to protecting professional standards of care so that no one suffers unscientific and harmful so-called gay conversion therapy. States have long regulated medical practices to protect patients from harmful professional conduct. Colorado’s law protecting young people from unscientific and cruel gay conversion therapy practices is human, smart, and appropriate.”

The case will be heard in the Supreme Court’s next term, which begins in October, with a decision expected by the end of June 2026.
