The Warning and Carín León join forces for genre-blending single “Love To Be Loved”

The Warning have teamed up with regional Mexican star Carín León for a new collaborative track, “Love To Be Loved.” The song is also being issued as a limited-edition 7-inch.

The sister-trio co-wrote the single with Teddy Swims, along with Rob Grimaldi, Anton DeLost, Boy Matthews, and Neil Ormandy. Grimaldi and DeLost also handled production. The song also marks León’s first collaboration performed entirely in English.

The Warning shares: “We are so excited about this song. As a rock band, this is something completely different for us and a chance to explore new sounds. Originally co-written with Teddy Swims, the song naturally blends country, rock, and pop in a way that felt fresh and inspiring from the start. Blending musical worlds is always exciting, and working with our fellow Mexican artist Carín León made the experience even more special. It’s a collaboration that pushed us creatively and shows a new side of The Warning.”

León, who recently earned a Grammy Award, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “I’m truly happy and excited about this collaboration with these amazing artists, The Warning, a band I deeply admire that reaffirms to me that Mexican music and Mexican rock are far from dead—they’re more present and stronger than ever. I’m also really grateful to collaborate alongside artists with such important projects for Mexican music and culture, and to be able to release this great song together. I truly hope people connect with it, appreciate it, and carry it in their hearts for a long time.”

The cinematic music video places León and the band inside a worn-in dive bar, surrounded by card games, pool tables, and slot machines. Though luck seems to be on their side, the storyline hints that what they’re truly after isn’t winnings—but connection. The clip builds to a lively karaoke-style performance that unites the room.

BTS share tracklist for upcoming album ‘Arirang’

Global superstars BTS have revealed the complete tracklist for their long-awaited fifth studio album, ARIRANG, set to drop March 20 at midnight ET. The 14-track collection marks the group’s first full-length project together since stepping back in 2022 to fulfill mandatory military service and focus on solo work.

Drawing its name from “Arirang,” the cherished Korean folk anthem long tied to themes of longing, unity, and resilience, the album reflects both the band’s cultural roots and their evolution in 2026. According to their label, BigHit Music, the record “sets out the direction the members will take moving forward. The members were deeply involved throughout the songwriting and production process, infusing their own thoughts and identities while expressing the emotions and reflections they experienced along their journey.”

The album begins with “Body to Body,” followed by “Hooligan,” “Aliens,” “FYA,” and “2.0.” A brief interlude, “No. 29,” divides the project before the lead single, “SWIM,” ushers in the second half. The record closes with “Merry Go Round,” “NORMAL,” “Like Animals,” “they don’t know ’bout us,” “One More Night,” “Please,” and the finale, “Into the Sun.”

Creatively, the members were heavily involved across the album. RM contributed to nearly every song, while SUGA and j-hope helped craft multiple tracks, including “Body to Body,” “Merry Go Round,” and “NORMAL.” Jimin worked on “they don’t know ’bout us” and “Into the Sun,” V lent his touch to “2.0” and “Into the Sun,” and Jung Kook took on a key creative role in four songs.

The group also teamed up with an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Diplo, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, El Guincho, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Ryan Tedder. Reflecting on the experience, Tedder shared on X, “Body to Body, SWIM, Merry Go Round, , NORMAL, Please – was a journey and so much fun working with these guys and an honor to be involved in this 🙏❤🚀 BTS LFG”

To celebrate the album release, BTS will headline “BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang,” a groundbreaking livestream concert airing exclusively on Netflix on March 21 at 8 p.m. KST (6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT). Broadcasting live from Seoul’s Gwanghwamun, the event marks the first time a live performance from Korea will be streamed worldwide on the platform.

Netflix will also air the feature documentary “BTS: The Return,” directed by Bao Nguyen and premiering globally on March 27th exclusively on Netflix. The intimate documentary film chronicles the making of the band’s new album, and offers fans a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the journey behind BTS’s highly anticipated return.

Finally, the group will also embark on what BigHit described as “the largest world tour in K-pop history” spanning 34 cities and 79 shows. The world tour will hit Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia, kicking-off with three nights in Goyang, South Korea on April 9th and April 11–12.  Tickets to the tour are now sold-out.

Father of Georgia school shooter guilty on second-degree murder, additional charges

A Barrow County jury has found 55-year-old Colin Gray guilty on 27 counts — including second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter and cruelty to children — for his role in the 2024 mass shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia. Jurors reached their decision in under two hours following a two-week trial. Two additional charges were dismissed.

The case centers on the Sept. 4, 2024 attack, when Gray’s son, Colt Gray, then 14, allegedly brought an AR-15-style rifle onto campus and opened fire. Investigators say the weapon was concealed in his backpack as he rode the school bus. After leaving class, he reportedly retrieved the rifle from a bathroom and began shooting in classrooms and hallways. Four people were killed: 14-year-old students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, along with teachers Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Cristina Irimie, 53. Another teacher and eight students were injured. Authorities allege the teen carefully planned the assault, leaving behind a notebook outlining preparations and a sketch of his classroom.

Prosecutors argued that Colin Gray ignored mounting warning signs about his son’s worsening mental state and fascination with prior mass shooters. Jurors were shown photos of the teen’s bedroom, including images of Nikolas Cruz, who carried out the 2018 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Despite those red flags, prosecutors said, Gray bought his son the rifle as a Christmas gift and provided ammunition.

Assistant District Attorney Patricia Brooks told jurors during closing arguments: “After seeing sign after sign of his son’s deteriorating mental state, his violence, his school shooter obsession, the defendant had sufficient warning that his son was a bomb just waiting to go off. And instead of disarming him, he gave him the detonator.”

Taking the stand in his own defense, Gray acknowledged purchasing the rifle but said he intended to use it for hunting trips and range practice with his son. He testified that the gift came with conditions tied to good behavior and school performance. Fighting back emotion, he said, “I struggle with it every day. I never thought that he would even have a thought process of bringing a gun to school or doing any kind of harm to anybody else. Well, on anybody at school.”  Defense attorney Jimmy Barry maintained that responsibility rests solely with the teen. Showing jurors a photograph of Colt Gray, Barry argued, “Everybody wants to see somebody go to jail other than this young man right here,” adding, “This is the person who needs to be punished. He made a conscious decision to do this – a secretive decision.”

Colt Gray, now 16, is being prosecuted as an adult and faces 55 counts, including felony murder and aggravated assault. He has pleaded not guilty.  Colt Gary faces up to 30 years in prison on the murder counts and could potentially spend the rest of his life behind bars; a trial date has not yet been set.

Kristi Noem faces bipartisan criticism over ICE, agency turmoil before the Senate Judiciary Committee

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem endured sharp questioning Tuesday as she appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee for the first time since two fatal shootings during a federal immigration operation in Minneapolis ignited national outrage.

The hearing unfolded against a tense backdrop: a partial shutdown at the Department of Homeland Security amid a funding impasse, rising concerns about domestic security following violence in Texas, and deepening political divisions over President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda.

Much of the session focused on the January deaths of Minneapolis residents Renee Good and Alex Pretti, both U.S. citizens, who were shot during a large-scale immigration enforcement surge known as Operation Metro Surge. Hundreds of officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection had been deployed to the state in what DHS initially described as a fraud investigation.

In the immediate aftermath, Noem labeled Pretti’s actions “the definition of domestic terrorism,” drawing fierce criticism. On Tuesday, Sen. Dick Durbin pressed her repeatedly to retract the claim. “You and your agency rushed to brand these victims as, quote, domestic terrorists,” Durbin said, urging her to apologize.  Noem declined to do so, saying she relied on preliminary reports from agents at what she described as a chaotic scene involving “violent protesters.” She added that condolences had been offered and that investigations were ongoing, but stopped short of admitting error.

While most Republicans defended the administration’s enforcement push, two GOP senators delivered pointed criticism. Sen. Thom Tillis, who is retiring, blasted Noem’s leadership as a “disaster,” accusing DHS of prioritizing arrest quotas over accuracy. “Quality matters, not quantity,” he said, citing cases in which American citizens were detained. He threatened to stall Senate business and block nominees unless the department provides answers about enforcement operations.

Sen. John Kennedy questioned a roughly $200 million taxpayer-funded ad campaign warning migrants against unlawful entry. The contract went to a Republican consulting firm with ties to Noem. Kennedy suggested the ads boosted her profile more than public safety. Noem denied involvement in selecting the firm and called the campaign “extremely effective.”

The hearing also spotlighted a standoff over DHS funding. Democrats have withheld support for a new appropriations bill unless changes are made to immigration enforcement practices after the Minneapolis deaths. Though last year’s spending package left DHS with substantial reserves, parts of the agency — including FEMA and the TSA — remain affected by the lapse. Some Republicans argued the funding delay poses national security risks, particularly amid tensions with Iran. Sen. Lindsey Graham warned that failing to fully fund DHS could leave the country vulnerable. Democrats, meanwhile, accused DHS of overreach and civil rights violations. Protesters and relatives of detainees attended the hearing, briefly interrupting proceedings before being removed.

Lawmakers also asked whether immigration agents might be deployed to polling places in November after Trump suggested expanding federal involvement in elections. Noem said, “There are no plans to have ICE officers at our polling locations,” adding that states remain responsible for administering elections.

Despite bipartisan skepticism, Trump has publicly backed Noem, even as some Republicans call for her resignation and House Democrats pursue impeachment efforts.  She is scheduled to testify before the House Judiciary Committee again on Wednesday

NY Jets secure RB Breece Hall with franchise tag as contract talks continue

The New York Jets have ensured that running back Breece Hall won’t reach the open market, applying the nonexclusive franchise tag just ahead of the league’s deadline. The move marks the first time the Jets have used the franchise tag since 2021, when safety Marcus Maye received it (but ultimately departed in free agency a year later.)

The designation locks Hall in for 2026 at $14.293 million unless a long-term extension is finalized before July 15. Because it’s the nonexclusive tag, Hall can explore offers from other teams, but any club signing him would have to surrender two first-round draft picks if the Jets decline to match.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported: “Tagged: As the Jets and RB Breece Hall continue to try to hammer out a lucrative long-term deal, New York is placing the $14.293 million franchise tag on its standout running back, per sources. The tag is designed as a placeholder until the two sides can reach agreement.”

General manager Darren Mougey had signaled this outcome at the NFL scouting combine, emphasizing the organization’s intent to retain one of its top offensive weapons. “We’ll find a way to keep Breece here if we can’t get a deal done. The tags are an option. Ideally, we’d find a way to get a deal done and keep Breece around. I think I’ve said that for the last year since I’ve got here. Breece is a good player. We want to find a way to keep him around.”

Negotiations toward a multiyear deal had been ongoing for weeks but did not produce an agreement before the deadline. If no extension is reached by mid-July, Hall will play the season on the one-year tender. The tag amount immediately counts against the Jets’ salary cap. The team considered using the less expensive transition tag, which would have cost roughly $11.3 million, but that option would not have included draft-pick compensation if another team signed Hall to an offer sheet.

Selected in the second round of the 2022 draft, Hall (who turns 25 on May 31st) is coming off a career-best 1,065 rushing yards in 2025 despite the Jets’ 3-14 record. Though coaches envisioned a larger receiving role, he finished with 36 catches — his second-lowest total in four seasons. Over four years, Hall has totaled 5,040 yards from scrimmage, ranking 14th league-wide in that span.

Atlanta Falcons selected as home team for NFL’s 2026 Madrid showcase

The NFL announced that the Atlanta Falcons will serve as the designated home team for a 2026 regular-season game in Madrid, Spain, marking another step in the league’s international expansion.

The Falcons confirmed the news, posting on social media: “¡Vamos a Madrid! See you in Spain, Dirty Birds 🇪🇸

The matchup will take place at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. Details regarding the Falcons’ opponent, along with the official date and kickoff time, will be announced when the full 2026 schedule is released this spring. European games typically begin at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Falcons’ team president and CEO Greg Beadles praised the opportunity, noting the connection between Atlanta and Madrid as both cities prepare to host major global sporting events. He said in a press release:  “We are incredibly proud to be part of an NFL regular-season game in Madrid at the iconic Bernabéu. Atlanta and Madrid are a fitting match as we will host two of Spain’s group stage matches in the upcoming FIFA World Cup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This opportunity reflects the continued global growth of both the NFL and the Atlanta Falcons, and we look forward to deepening our connection with our European community by hosting another sporting contest here at home and returning to Europe for the fourth time in six seasons. On behalf of our entire organization, we are excited to experience Spain’s rich culture and to collaborate with outstanding partners including Real Madrid C.F., the city of Madrid and the Comunidad de Madrid. The Falcons are honored to play a role in advancing the NFL’s international growth.”

This will be Atlanta’s sixth regular-season contest outside the United States and its fourth overseas appearance in the past six years. The Falcons played in Berlin last season and have previously competed in London and Toronto. They hold a 1-3 record in international play.

Madrid hosted its first NFL regular-season game on Nov. 16, when the Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Commanders in front of nearly 80,000 fans at the Bernabéu. League officials say interest in American football continues to surge in Spain, calling the Falcons’ visit another milestone for the sport’s growth there.

The Madrid game is one of a record nine international matchups scheduled for 2026. Other host cities include Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Munich, Mexico City and three games in London. The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers are already confirmed for the Australia contest, while the 49ers will also play in Mexico. The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to appear in three London games, and the Detroit Lions will compete in Germany.

Because NFC teams have nine home games in 2026, Atlanta will still host eight contests at home in Georgia. Potential opponents for the Madrid trip will come from the Falcons’ scheduled home slate, though some teams — including Detroit, San Francisco and New Orleans — have already been assigned other international appearances.
