Milwaukee Bucks will offer Covid-19 vaccinations to fans attending Sunday’s game

The Milwaukee Bucks announced Tuesday that every person 16 and older that attends Sunday’s game between the Bucks and Brooklyn Nets at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee will have the opportunity to receive their first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. In partnership with the Milwaukee Health Department, the Bucks will set up a mobile vaccination site inside the arena, which will open at 1 p.m. (90 minutes before the start of the game) and remain operational through the conclusion of the contest. Health administrators will be on-site to schedule appointments for requisite second shots. The entire vaccination process, including signing up for the jab, receiving the vaccine and waiting approximately 15 minutes afterward, is expected to take less than a half-hour.

Bucks President Peter Feigin said in a press release: “We strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated and are pleased to team with the Milwaukee Health Department to give fans this easy and convenient opportunity. This is a critical time for all of us to take the necessary step that will help return our lives to normal. Let’s make this happen together.”
